The Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God and preserved for English-speaking people in the King James Version. We hold the Scriptures to be inerrant and infallible.

Our Statement of Faith
Camp Promised Land is a Bible-believing, King James Bible ministry. These are the truths that anchor everything we do.
02God
There is one God existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and everywhere present. God is both loving and holy: He loves humanity while condemning sin.
03God the Father
He is the Father of Jesus Christ and of all believers, possessing complete control over the universe.
04Jesus Christ
Jesus is God's Son — 100% divine and 100% human, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life and achieved our salvation through His death, burial, and resurrection. He now intercedes for believers in Heaven.
05The Holy Spirit
The third Person of the Godhead authored Scripture, convicts the world of sin, guides believers into all truth, and seals our salvation at the moment of conversion.
06Salvation
Salvation is available exclusively through Jesus Christ. It requires recognizing one's sinful nature, repenting, and trusting in Christ's redemptive work.
07Eternal Security
Once the gift of salvation is given, it can never be taken back or lost through works or actions.
08Baptism
Baptism is an ordinance that follows salvation, performed by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It symbolizes faith; it does not confer salvation.
09Creation
God created the universe in six literal days, out of nothing.
10Human Nature
Humanity bears the image of God and possesses free will. All humans inherit a sinful nature from Adam.
11Hell
Hell is a literal place of eternal torment, prepared for Satan and his demons. Those who reject Christ's salvation face eternal separation from God there.
12Heaven
Heaven is a literal dwelling place for God, His angels, and believers — offering eternal worship and peace.
13Marriage
Marriage is designed by God exclusively for one man and one woman. Husbands are to love their wives, and wives are to honor their husbands.
14Abortion
Human life begins at conception; therefore abortion constitutes murder.
15End Times
A pre-tribulation rapture precedes seven years of tribulation, from which believers are spared. The timing of Christ's return remains unknown. A thousand-year reign follows before the final judgment and the creation of new heavens and a new earth.
